The design philosophy of this important boutique found in the historic centre of Trapani springs from the need to create a unique style for all the areas housed inside the palazzo, boutiques and hotel (soon to be realised), drawing from the historic traditions of the island and characterised by the various cultures that have had an influence on this city.
The chromatic contrasts typical of Mediterranean cultures are proposed in the choice of materials. The darkened mahogany of the large vertical perforated panels and the furniture represents a sure foil for the mother-of-pearl lacquering and bronzed metal panels that stand out from the ceiling in the main hall and become the backdrop for the hanging displays.
The orange tones in the vertical niches and furnishings are instead the distinctive and identifying element, while the sand-coloured flooring has an undulating insert in the centre inspired by the decorations of the local ceramics.
In the evenings, the perforated mahogany panelling allowing access to the
hotel area filters the light into the boutique environments, reminding of
the perforated monuments of Arab architecture. (www.stefaniamode.it)

This project involves a building destined for use as a textile warehouse with offices and showrooms. The wide "V" shape and the distribution of the building itself are solutions designed to gather together the greatest possible amount of natural light.
The project materials are all natural and clearly inspired by the typical materials of the Tuscan countryside in which the building is situated. The walls are in natural stone, on split-levels also in line with the vertical plane, in order to create a play of light and shadow reminiscent of the typical features of the old farmhouses.
The surface finish of the stone, in itself variegated in grain and colour, comes in various solutions (brushed, polished, serrated, split, hammered, chiselled, sanded, antiqued, striped, rolled, flamed), in order to represent and stress the ancient artistic and artisan flavour of tradition.
In the centre of the main façade where the continuity in the stone wall comes to an end, there is a large window – a second "V" – which embraces the surrounding landscape which it reflects, becoming part of the same.
